The challenge
DeliVita’s award-winning outdoor ovens are inspired by Italy and handmade in Yorkshire. They’re fast to heat, portable and never go out of style. Just like pizzas.
DeliVita needed an ecommerce experience that was just as easy-to-use as their pizza ovens, and a website that reflected their authentic, family-run brand. They decided on the Shopify platform, anticipating future international expansion.
The market for home pizza ovens has exploded in recent years – and shows no signs of slowing down. DeliVita was up against established brands, like Gozney and Ooni, so drawing market share through SEO was an essential part of their strategy.

Social Media
Press, social media, and use of influencers also formed a key part in the marketing strategy for DeliVita’s product range. Imagery, graphics and video are essential in any product marketing, but especially so in the food sector. DeliVita needed relevant, evocative imagery for use across social media platforms and in PR outreach.
The solution
We designed a website for DeliVita that tells their story from Italian family heritage to Yorkshire craftsmanship and technology. The site guides pizza-enthusiasts through the buyer’s journey, from authentic pizza-oven recipes to picking out their very own garden oven, as well as a trade section for restaurants and venues. The website was built using a bespoke theme developed for DeliVita’s use on the Shopify ecommerce platform.
We supplemented the website design with a strong search strategy. The project was built with a search-first focus. From initial SEO keyword research and audit, to technical on-site SEO foundations and SEO copywriting on key pages and product descriptions, to a long-term strategy for growing DeliVita’s organic search presence.
